One of the first songs i learned to play on Morin Khuur. Still awesome to play and improvise on top of. It's an original Durvud-Mongol nomadic folk song to gather yaks, but the way I play it is more modernized, based on the composition of Shinetsog of the Domog folk group.

where did you get your altai harp
Best place to find them from my experience is Etsy. Ebay in second place but I’m not a fan of it personally

Your Khoomei is so clear. You’re talented dude, I aspire to be able to do this. I can now sing Kargyraa and am working on Khoomei and Sygyt; I’ve also purchased my first Morin Khuur and am learning to perform ‘Chinggis Khaanii Magtaal’ :)
How did you learn kargyraa and how long did it took
@@mesuthaktan6330 It took me around 3 weeks to find the feeling of how to actually do it, and for the past 2-3 months I’ve been working on strengthening and practicing so I can sustain the notes for longer and sing a wider range of notes. It feels so so cool when you can do it :)

@@mesuthaktan6330 I learnt by ear. Trial and error until I could replicate the sound I was hearing, and then I recorded myself and played it back to see if I’d got the technique right. Once I’d got it, I have since been doing it every opportunity I can when people aren’t around. I’m getting pretty good now but I still need to get better at the significantly deeper tones.
